We report a case of extrinsic allergic alveolitis, provoked by Deterzy
me, a product used in dermatology for the cleansing of cutaneous sores
, and containing fractions of protolytic enzymes and amylases of Asper
gillus oryzae. The diagnosis was based on the positive precipitins to
an extract of antigen of the product as well as positive bronchial pro
vocation tests (semi-delayed) and the disappearance of the symplomatol
ogy without any sequelae following cessation of exposure to the risk.
