O. Vittecoq et al., MEDIASTINAL BRONCHOGENIC CYST REVEALING A SYNDROME OF MULTIPLE MALFORMATIONS, Revue des maladies respiratoires, 10(4), 1993, pp. 371-373
The authors report a case of a patient presenting with a bronchogenic
mediastinal cyst, which presented as a super-infection of the cyst. Th
e cyst was associated with malformation of the cervical vertebre, card
iovascular abnormalities and congenital deafness, placing this in the
group of rare complex polymalformation syndrome with Klippel-Feil Synd
rome. The authors also stress the value of computed tomography, and ab
ove all of nuclear magnetic resonance in the analysis of mediastinal t
umours and in particular, of bronchogenic cysts.
