Abstract
A case report is presented in which a tissue expander was used to corr ect a burn scar in the upper arm. During the expansion period the infl ated expander caused a paresis of the radial nerve. The paresis recove red gradually after removal of the expander. Problems concerning tissu e expansion in the upper extremities are discussed in this paper.
