Abstract
Total and dissolved inorganic boron in Hugli estuary was studied for 1 , y (March 1989 to Feb. 1990). Organic complex form of boron varied be tween 10.6 and 32.9% of total boron. The observed semiconservative beh aviour of boron was possibly due to its co-precipitation with silica.
