Abstract
Analysis of the heat generation of highly energy-intensive batteries a llows the following conclusions to be made. Non-explosiveness of the b attery's electrochemical system is determined by its heat generation. During discharge, heat generation is minimal at the discharge voltage, being close to the thermoneutral potential. The interface temperature must be always less than some critical value.
