Aj. Cohen et al., ANATOMIC CONSIDERATIONS IN CLOSED TRANSATRIAL CANNULATION OF THE CORONARY SINUS, The Annals of thoracic surgery, 56(3), 1993, pp. 581-582
Successful closed transatrial coronary sinus cannulation is dependent
on a proper catheter insertion site and proper catheter direction. Acc
urate anatomic landmarks are described to provide a reproducible cannu
lation site and catheter direction. This results in consistent success
ful cannulation of the coronary sinus.
