Successful closed transatrial coronary sinus cannulation is dependent on a proper catheter insertion site and proper catheter direction. Acc urate anatomic landmarks are described to provide a reproducible cannu lation site and catheter direction. This results in consistent success ful cannulation of the coronary sinus.
