3-COMPONENT INTERPOLYMER COMPLEXES WITH M ONOBASIC LOW-MOLECULAR-MASSMEDIATORS

The specific features of formation and the properties of three-compone nt interpolymer complexes with a low-molecular-mass mediator, where th e polymer components are two polyacids and the mediator is a diphilic monobasic heterocyclic compound (4-vinylpyridine or 2-methyl-5-vinylpy ridine) are considered. These polycomplexes are stabilized by a system of ionic bonds between the mediator and polyelectrolyte and by hydrop hobic interaction between the mediator molecules. It is suggested that the mediator molecules are not subject to acquire any ordered arrange ment in these complexes.
