Abstract
We show that when transverse momentum (pseudo) rapidity correlations a re correctly taken into account the pion inelasticity remains practica lly constant in the GeV-TeV energy regions, When extending our calcula tion to the charged particle inelasticity, we find a slow decrease wit h energy.
