Abstract
The electric and photovoltaic characteristics of a sandwich structure (Al/polymer/Se/SnO2 + In2O3) based on poly(hydroxyaminoester), photoch emically oxidized by CBr4 introduced in the polymer film, were studied . The oxidation product is an efficient sensitizer of photoconductance in the red spectral range. This results in a four times higher effici ency of photoconversion in the visible light as compared to that of a photovoltaic cell with a polymer layer containing no oxidation product s. The efficiency of photoconversion amounted to 0.05% at a wavelength of 630 nm and an illumination energy density of 0.45 W/m(2).
