Abstract
On the basis of experimental data and quantum-chemical calculations of the electronic structure of the models of active centers it is shown that the mechanism of kinetic anti-stereocontrol of the polymer micros tructure is realized in polymerization of piperylene with NdCl3 . 3TBP -Al(i-C4H9)(3) catalytic system. Upon insertion of a diene into the ch ain, the forming anti-form of the terminal unit has time to isomerize to a thermodynamically more advantageous syn-form.
