Abstract
In the vortex lattice state of type II superconductors there are bands of excitations within the energy gap. Solving the Bogoliuvov-de Genne s equations with the Wigner-Seitz boundary condition, we attempt to fi nd approximate wave functions and eigenvalues for the states at the bo ttom of the band.
