Abstract
A group additivity relationship is developed to estimate vapor pressur es of hydrocarbons. These group values are able to reproduce experimen tal vapor pressures of the 326 compounds that comprise the dataset wit hin a factor of 1.6. The vapor pressures range from about 1000 kPa (10 atm) to 10(-6) kPa, about 9 orders of magnitude. The temperature depe ndence of these group values are provided to cover the temperature ran ge 298-500 K.
