Abstract
The authors will show how they managed to raise and maintain the inter est of their students by introducing the use of computers and by makin g the students participate in software development. They will present all the necessary ingredients to achieve this goal. Also, they will ta ke the opportunity to present a couple of useful software applications which have been developed by the students under their guidance.
