Abstract
Reliability testing is a form of experimental research which, in the p ast, has primarily focused on failure incidence as a function of time. Bar code symbologies depend on a handful of factors to asses their '' reliability''; time being not determinant in the analysis. In an effor t to overcome such difficulty, the paper underlies the concept by form ulating all possible relevant variables of the system.
