Abstract
A dodecyltrimethylammonium-selective electrode to measure free dextrom ethorphan hydrobromide (M) concentrations in aqueous solution was used . Electrode response towards this drug is about 50 mV per decade. Thus , this electrode can be used to determine the stability constant of an 1:1 stoichiometry complex between beta-cyclodextrin and M. The value of this constant is about 19950 at 298 K.
