Ak. Malikova et Ra. Pavlygina, COHERENT ANALYSIS OF THE RABBITS BRAIN EL ECTRICAL-ACTIVITY AT THE DOMINANT OF THIRST, Zurnal vyssej nervnoj deatelnosti im. I.P. Pavlova, 43(4), 1993, pp. 660-667
Study of the spatial-temporal relations of the brain electrical activi
ty at the dominant of thirst revealed a definite reconstruction of ele
ctrical processes' interrelations in the cortex and subcortex in a low
-frequency range. Regular increase of coherence level in the delta-ran
ge took place between the potentials of 'the frontal cortical area and
APL, AHA, PV testifying to a formation of a primary dominant focus in
these structures. At tonic state of the dominant the greatest increas
e of coherence function evaluations took place in the theta1-range; be
fore summation movement maximal values of coherence were observed in t
he theta2-range. The above-mentioned differences are probably connecte
d with the different levels of motivational-emotional excitation, appe
aring at corresponding stages of a dominant manifestation.
