Abstract
The sound velocities of 15 propagation modes in an 18R single crystal of a Cu-Zn-Al alloy have been measured by the pulse-echo method. The e lasticity equations have been solved using a numerical selfconsistent procedure, and the values of the 13 elastic constants of this monoclin ic structure have been determined.
