Within the scenario approach to the evolution of binary systems of dif
ferent mass, we analyze the formation of neutron stars in them. A nume
rical model of the galactical population of neutron stars is computed.
We estimate the birthrate and number of single and binary neutron sta
rs, and of neutron stars with companions - main-sequence stars, superg
iant, helium stars, white dwarfs, black holes. We consider in detail t
he theoretical distributions of neutron stars in binaries of different
types over orbital periods, masses of components, eccentricities of o
rbits, spatial velocities, and analyze the dependence of the model on
the main parameters of the model: the efficiency of the orbital energy
expenditure on the dispersion of the common envelopes and initial dis
tribution of binaries over mass ratio of components.
