Starting from the analysis of reseachs that show the importance of sel
f-referents judgments on the recovery of people after a myocardial inf
arction when their wifes cooperate, and especially, on the performance
of groups and organizations, it is proposed the hypothesis that the s
elf-efficacy judgements a necesay mediator to face familiar problems.
It being stresed the importance of the self-efficacy of the leader on
the area in wich the familiar problem appear. Finally it is proposed a
model how to cope with a special problem police's families.
