Abstract
Two cases are described in whom rare antigens of the rhesus blood grou p system could be found by absent or very weak reaction with monoclona l antisera and strong reaction with polyclonal reagents. All 3 monoclo nal anti-E sera showed no reaction with the E(W) antigen, while monocl onal anti-C sera had different reactions with the C(X) antigen.
