Abstract
The electroless deposition of Ni-P, Ni-Co-P and Co-P alloys has been i nvestigated. The effects of pH on the chemical composition of the depo sits and the induced stresses have been explored. The magnetic and ele ctrochemical properties and the mechanical hardness of the deposits ha ve been studied after annealing at various temperatures and are relate d to the crystal structures.
