Abstract
262 samples from wild birds of 26 species were examinated for antibodi es against the Newcastle Disease virus (NDV). By using the haemaggluti nation inhibition test (HI) 22 serum samples showing positive antibody titers could be detected. The epidemiology and the significance of ND for wild birds and waterfowl in farms is discussed.
