D. Bicanic et al., A PHOTOACOUSTIC DETECTOR OF THE TOTAL CARBON CONTENT IN SOIL-WATER SOLUTIONS, Measurement science & technology, 4(9), 1993, pp. 1016-1020
An experimental method that combines use of a CW CO2 laser with a non-
resonant photoacoustic cell operating at high temperature has been use
d to detect the content of total organic carbon in soil water solution
s by means of CO2 concentration measurements. Detection sensitivity of
about 4 mmol l-1 for total organic carbon has been achieved at a cell
temperature of 775 K.
