Abstract
A partitioning of an integer into sums of integer terms is used to cal culate the multiplicity and charge distributions of fragments produced in the multifragmentation of nuclear systems. Comparison of the resul ting distributions with experimental distributions shows that this cal culation method is suitable for analyzing experimental results.
