Abstract
The formation of :CFCF3, SiF4 and (cis+trans)-2-C4F8 is demonstrated u nder the strictly homogeneous pyrolysis of C2F5SiF3, using kinetic spe ctroscopy (at 250 and 465 nm) and chromatographic analysis, respective ly. Pyrolysis of 2-C4F8 under the same conditions leads to the formati on of an intermediate (C4) which reveals absorption at 250 nm.
