Abstract
A new synthesis of benzofuro[3,2-c]pyridine derivatives 6a,b, 7a,b and 8a,b, based on the reactions of ta-dimethylaminovinyl)-3-acyl-5-metho xybenzofurans 4a,b with hydroxylamine hydrochloride, is described.
