Tl. Belyaeva et al., INVESTIGATION OF QUASI-STATIONARY ALPHA-CLUSTER STATES IN O-16 BY ANALYSIS OF ANGULAR T-ALPHA CORRELATIONS, Physics of atomic nuclei, 56(9), 1993, pp. 1179-1189
A theoretical analysis of the differential and double differential cro
ss sections (t-alpha angular correlation function) has been performed
for the O-16 excited states produced in the C-12(Li-7,t)O-16(alpha)C-
12 reaction at E(Li) = 34 and 45 MeV. The mechanism of semiheavy ion i
nteraction has been studied and leads to the formation of high-lying q
uasistationary a-cluster states in O-16. Calculations of the reaction
characteristics are performed using the original computer codes in the
EFR-DWBA and the Hauser-Feshbach model. The analysis of the angular c
orrelation function has made it possible to establish new features of
nuclear interactions in highly excited states.
