Abstract
By using the color confinement potential which includes the color scre ening effect, we studied the baryon spectra and the nucleon-nucleon in teraction. The results show that the color screening effect not only i mproves the baryon spectrum calculation, but also can solve the long-t ail problem of the color Van der Waals force. A part of the medium att raction of the nuclear force can be obtained from the color Van der Wa als force.
