J. Bagger et E. Poppitz, DESTABILIZING DIVERGENCES IN SUPERGRAVITY-COUPLED SUPERSYMMETRIC THEORIES, Physical review letters, 71(15), 1993, pp. 2380-2382
Nonrenormalizable couplings in supergravity-coupled supersymmetric the
ories can give rise to power-law divergences that destabilize the weak
-scale hierarchy. For the case of the standard-model gauge group, the
problem can arise in theories with SU(3) x SU(2) x U(1) gauge-singlet
chiral superfields. The minimal supersymmetric standard model is free
from such destabilizing divergences.
