Abstract
The hydrodesulfuration of thiophene on Al-Ni-Mo (ANM) catalysts, promo ted by high-silica (HS) pentasils ZSM-5 and ZSM-11 (boro-, ferro) and aluminosilicates ZSM-5 (2HS, ZHM) was studied within a wide range of N i/Mo ratios. It was established that at Ni/Mo = 0.3-0.5 in an ANM cata lyst, there is a promotion by ZSM pentasils; in the case of Ni/Mo > 0. 5-1.5 an inhibiting effect is observed. The data obtained are discusse d from the standpoint of the proposed models of the active site of ANM catalysts for hydropurification.
