Abstract
Measurement of the integral intensities of the x-ray photoelectron lin es Ir4f, Ir4d5/2, and Ir4p3/2 showed that an iridium concentration gra dient is characteristic of iridium-containing particles of Ir/gamma-Al 2O3 catalyst: the concentration of iridium is lower in the upper layer s than in deep layers.
