FINITE IMPULSE-RESPONSE ADAPTIVE SELF-TUNING ALGORITHM

The proposed strategy uses a novel finite impulse response (FIR) and a modified forced response strategy to achieve finite settling time res ponse and does not require either permanent excitation or the solution of a proper Diophantine equation. The method consists of an effective pole removal - zero placement technique.
