Abstract
The authors propose a dispersion slope compensating fibre (DSCF) which compensates third-order dispersion around 1550nm of non-zero dispersi on shifted fibre (NZ-DSF) links. The total dispersion slope of the NZ- DSF link, improved by concatenating the fabricated DSCF, was as low as +0.038ps/km/nm(2).
