Abstract
A convenient and economical in situ preparation of DIP-Chloride(TM) fr om NaBH4, BCl3 and alpha-pinene is described. Its application in the a symmetric reduction of representative aralkyl ketones is presented. (C ) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
