Abstract
A novel complex, [Bu4N](2)[{Mo-2(mu-SPh)(2)(CO)(6)}(2)(eta(2)-mu-O2C(CH2)(2 )CO2-mu-eta(2))] 1, is synthesized by the reaction of [Bu4N][Mo-2(mu-SPh)(2 )(mu-Br)(CO)(6)] and butanedioic in the present of Et3N in acetone. X-ray c rystal structure of 1 is determined. 1 might possess an electrochemistry ch aracter of four-electron reduction in a single step.
