Lh. Huang et al., Relation between millimeter wavelengths emission and high-energy emission for active galactic nuclei, CHIN PHYS L, 15(11), 1998, pp. 856-858
After comparing the Aux densities of a sample of active galactic nuclei det
ected fly energetic gamma-ray experiment telescope at 90 and 230 GHz with t
he gamma-ray emissions detected by Compton Gamma-nay Observatory and x-ray
emission, a strong correlation between the emission at the millimeter wavel
ength and the gamma-ray emission is found. The average flux density of x-ra
y is almost proportional to the average flux density at the millimeter wave
length for quasars detected by energetic gamma-ray experiment telescope, wh
ich strongly supports the previous idea that the x-ray emissions of this ki
nd sources are mainly produced by synchrotron self-Compton process.
