A generalized theory for Linking a periodic discrete medium, with translati
ons and rotations (for instance, fully-joint beam assembly), to an equivale
nt Cosserat continuum is presented. This theory will be applied to honeycom
b plane networks. Homogenized behaviour for rotations will be exhibited. Th
en, forecasts of discrete and continuous models will be confronted on the s
