6-dimensional integrals and supercomputers

Recently, a numerical method has been developed for the evaluation of gener al 6-dimensional integrals (6DIME), which has been successfully applied to the study of (e,2e) and (gamma,2e) processes. Details of the parallelizatio n of that code are given using MPI and the scaling behaviour with respect t o the number of nodes is presented. Almost full load balancing is obtained. The method is extended to include two centre scattering problems. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
