Plant aneuploids: Suggestions for their classification

The paper lists, defines and classifies all types of aneuploids known hithe rto. Categorisation has been made on the basis of the alterations of chromo some number and gene content. The change in nomenclature of some aneuploids has been warranted by the fact that some names that are in vogue do not re flect the precise nature of the aneuploid and, are therefore, ambiguous. Fo r these ambiguous terms new names have been proposed.
