The neutron deficient nucleus Te-108 was studied in the Fe-54(Ni-58,2p2n) r
eaction. A detector system consisting of 4 Euroball cluster detectors, a ch
arged-particle detector ball and a 16 element neutron multiplicity filter w
as used to detect the emitted particles and gamma rays. A new, significantl
y extended level scheme was constructed on the basis of gamma gamma-coincid
ence relations. Spin values for the states were determined from angular dis
tribution ratios. The experimental results are discussed in terms of the sh
ell model.
