Abstract
A study has been made of oxidation, sulfurization, and other reactions of 3 -C-phosphoryl-1, 2-O-isopropylidene-alpha-D-glucofuranose 3,5,6-bicyclophos phites. Methods for the synthesis of new types of alpha-D-glucofuranose dip hosphorus derivatives weve proposed on the basis of these transformations. (C) 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
