Abstract
The high spin states and octupole deformation collective bands of neutron-r ich nuclei Ce-144,Ce-146 have been established through measuring the prompt gamma-rays from spontaneous fission of Cf-252.;;The highest spin state is up to 15(-). The characteristics of octupole deformation for the two nuclei are discussed.
