Ta. Rhodes et Ma. Fox, NEW HIGH-PRESSURE FIBEROPTIC CELL FOR TIME-RESOLVED EMISSION AND ABSORBENCY MEASUREMENTS IN NEARCRITICAL AND SUPERCRITICAL SOLVENTS, Applied spectroscopy, 51(3), 1997, pp. 358-361
A new fiber-optic high-pressure cell for time-resolved absorbance and
fluorescence measurements in near- and supercritical solvents is prese
nted. It consists entirely of commercial components, thus facilitating
ease of construction and maintenance and facilitating component excha
nge to incorporate materials that can withstand a broad range of press
ures and temperatures. The adaptability of the cell and the applicabil
ity of the pressure-sealing technique to a variety of emission and fas
t kinetic measurements are discussed.
