Abstract
Thirteen alkyl cobaloximes RCo(L,)B with two equatorial ligands L (L=dmgH a nd dpgH) and with three different bases B (gamma -picoline, imid and benzim id) have been synthesised (78 complexes in all). The cis influence has been studied using UV-Vis, IR and LH NMR techniques. The results show that the cis influence follows the order : dpgh > dmgH and the result match with tho se of our previous studies.
