Abstract
Nd1-xCaxCr1-yCdyO3 solid solutions were prepared, and their thermal expansi on coefficient, thermoelectric power, and electrical conductivity were meas ured in air between 500 and 1000 degrees C. The materials exhibit p-type ho pping conduction; the conductivity is nearly constant at oxygen partial pre ssures in the range 10(5) to 10(-3) Pa.
