Abstract
This paper deals with a theoretical and experimental investigation of Rayle igh-Benard convection in a magnetic fluid submitted simultaneously to a gra dient of magnetic held and a gradient of temperature. With an annular Hele- Shaw cell configuration, we show the possibility to simulate Rayleigh-Benar d experiments and its control by a gradient of magnetic field in the absenc e of gravity (g congruent to 0).
