Abstract
Ten new steroidal sulfates, acanthosterol sulfates A-J (1-10), have been is olated from a marine sponge, Acanthodendrilla sp., collected in western Jap an. Acanthosterol sulfates I and J (9 and 10) showed antifungal activity ag ainst the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae A364A and its mutants at 0.1 mg/di sk.
