Abstract
Investigation of the ethanolic extract from the twigs of Fissistigma balans ae resulted in the isolation of two new p-quinonoid aporphine alkaloids, na med fissilandione (1) and norfissilandione (2). The structures of 1 and 2 w ere elucidated on the basis of spectral data and confirmed by chemical conv ersions.
