Abstract
For the performance assessment of solid breeder materials for a fusion reac tor, the production behavior of irradiation defects in some candidate mater ials of Li2TiO3, Li2ZrO3 and Li2SnO3 were studied by an in situ luminescenc e measurement technique under ion beam irradiation. The transient behavior of the luminescence intensity on temperature changes was measured in kineti c aspects of the involved reactions, and the production mechanisms and kine tics of the irradiation defects in these lithium ceramics were determined.
