Abstract
The one-pot reaction of 2-hydroxy-2-methoxyacetic acid methyl ester with be nzyloxyamine and an alkyl radical provided a convenient method for preparin g the protected alpha-amino acids via a carbon;carbon bond formation by int ermolecular carbon radical addition to glyoxylic oxime ether.
